Meet Our Team

Dr. Caroline Lea Tyndall

Picture

Veterinarian, Owner
Dr. Lea grew up on her family's tobacco and cattle farm in Moore County, NC. Her love for animals and passion to become a veterinarian began at an early age and has continued throughout her life. She attended NC State University where she obtained both her bachelors in animal science and her doctorate of veterinary medicine. Following graduation, she started her career as an associate veterinarian for Animal Health Center in 2015 which she maintained until purchasing the practice from Dr. Keith Harrison in October 2018.  After the previous owner's closed Raeford Animal Clinic, she purchased that practice and reopened as Raeford Animal Hospital in June, 2022.  Dr. Lea has a special interest in feline medicine, but thoroughly enjoys all aspects of medicine and surgery. She is a member of several professional associations including the American Association of Feline Practitioners as well as the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Lea is excited to be able to help the pets and pet owners of Hoke County and looks forward to a mainstay in the community for years to come. Outside of work, Dr. Lea and her husband Jared stay busy with their three precious children (Olivia, Allison, and Cameron) and their pets Eddie (Pug), Jules (Golden Retriever), and Skitt (dilute calico kitty). They also love cheering on the Wolfpack at NC State and are proud football season ticket holders!

Yvonne Lospinuso

Yvonne is our fabulous Veterinary Technician. Yvonne is a 1986 graduate of Central Carolina Community College's School of Veterinary Technology. Following graduation, she was employed by Animal Health Center in Moore County as well as right here at Raeford Animal Clinic.  She was excited to return to Raeford when we opened Raeford Animal Hospital. We feel very fortunate to have her continued service and years of expert skills. In her spare time Yvonne enjoys riding her motorcycle and gardening. Yvonne has a few pets including her very special kitty "J.R." (short for Just Rotten) and a few fish.

Nya Pattillo

Picture
Client Specialist

Nya joined Raeford Animal Hospital as a Client Specialist in July of 2023. She's been surrounded by animals since early childhood and spent the majority of her school years volunteering at her local animal shelter. While in Nashville working towards a Bachelor's of Science in Human & Organizational Development, Nya volunteered with rescues, zoos, and wildlife sanctuaries. It was during a trip to the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee that she decided acting as clinic support was what she wanted to do, making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible so the veterinary staff can help those in need. In her free time she enjoys reading, drawing, researching random facts, and being the proud mother of her two darling senior dogs (Nellie and Spirit) and a spoiled little manx cat (Peanut).

Elaine Rogers

Picture
Client Specialist
Elaine has been with us since July, 2024.  Her love for animals began in Oklahoma on her childhood farm.  She began her journey in the veterinary industry as a groomer in 1997 and worked her way through almost every part of veterinary practice from the Kennel Tech to Veterinary Assistant.  If there is something to be done in a veterinary hospital, she has done it!.  She has been focused on the front desk for the last 10 years and has developed good relationships with clients everywhere she has been.  In her spare time, she enjoys bingeing movies and tv shows and making jewelry.

Dr. Leah Tucker

Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Tucker joined us in June, 2022 as an Associate Veterinarian. She is a native of High Point, NC, and attended college in Greensboro prior to graduating from the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. She then spent 7 years at the coast working in both general practice and emergency medicine before coming to the Sandhills to move away from hurricanes and closer to family. Dr. Tucker's special areas of interest are feline medicine, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and wound management. When not at work she enjoys reading, knitting, and cooking. She is currently the underappreciated human servant of 3 cats: Smudge, Spooky, and Muggsy Bogues.

They own a small hobby farm where they have a dalmatian named Dotty, a cat named Chino, a pony named Poppy, a miniature horse name Yuka, plenty of chickens, and two Patagonian Cavies named Gizmo and Greta. Her passion for dog grooming started back in 2012 when she received her Pet Grooming certification from Animal Behavioral College. Since, she has groomed at multiple salons from Colorado Springs to Fayetteville and now here at Raeford Animal Hospital! She loves to pamper and spoil your pets and aims to turn every grooming visit into a spa day! In her free time she enjoys pet and family photography as well as spending time with her wonderful family.

Jared Tyndall

Picture

Practice Manager
Jared is not only our hard working practice manager, but he also happens to be Dr. Lea's wonderful husband. Jared began his career as a veterinary assistant at a private practice in Raleigh in 2004. He stayed with that practice until 2014 when he joined Banfield Pet Hospital in Cary as their practice manager until Dr. Lea was lucky enough to convince him to leave to join the West Pine team.  With Dr. Lea so busy at West Pine, Jared relished the opportunity to spearhead the opening of Raeford Animal Hospital and is excited to continue to see the practice grow with the city of Raeford. Jared is a huge animal lover, and has a special interest in caring for our more fearful pets who sometimes need an extra dose of TLC. In his spare time Jared thoroughly enjoys watching sports with pro football being his favorite sport and the Denver Broncos being his favorite team.
